Laurence Côté is a bachelor student in multidisciplinary science, with a prior background in language studies and business. He is passionate about continuous improvement and always keen to undertake ambitious projects that combine creative and technical work and play to his strengths: vision, analysis, synthesis, and communication. His recent and current work at Poly Circle X.0 centers around ecodesign, large language models, and innovative and inclusive engineering education.

BIOGRAPHY

Building upon a wealth of professional experience in various fields as well as recent studies in industrial engineering, Laurence is now in pursuit of a career in sustainability education at Polytechnique. To that end, in 2025 he is undertaking a Minor of Cognitive Sciences at Université de Montréal and a Certificate in Sustainable Energetic Resources at Université du Québec à Montréal. One of his favourite things to say is “it’s all coming together.” In addition to furthering research on ecodesign and pedagogy, he contributes to colleagues’ research activities by designing figures for scientific articles, ensuring they deliver the highest possible clarity and impact to their audience.
