I have completed my bachelor's and master's in the field of Industrial Engineering in Iran. I worked on a supply chain network design problem and a decomposition algorithm as my master's thesis. Now, in my doctoral studies, I am continuing the research on the production layer of a supply chain and specifically investigating the assembly section of a manufacturing plant. My current research is focused on finding an optimal assembly line configuration where humans and robots collaborate to deliver tasks. I am interested in the application of collaborative robots in assembly systems and how strategic, tactical, and operational decisions impact both human-robot collaboration and productivity objectives.
